ADCS Arena Trial in Prescott, AZ

A few months ago, I was asked to be the show photographer for an Arena Trial up in beautiful Prescott, AZ. Well, I finally got to go do that last weekend! It was so much fun, a beautiful, beautiful setting, nice people, and, most importantly, gorgeous horses!

In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE, L.O.V.E. horses. All types of horses.....big, little, riding, driving...anything but ugly. Preferably, I love riding big horses, but driving is fine, too. So spending a whole day around all different types of horses with a camera, in a beautiful area?? Almost perfection for me.

Enjoy!! Especially if you're a horse lover like me :)

I loved this Halflinger...and the scenery behind!

This mare was 27 and this was her first show!! She did awesome!!

*warning* you will be seeing many pictures of this stunning Morgan. She was p.h.o.t.o.g.e.n.i.c.

There will also be many pictures of this amazing team!!

"Hey! What is that big black thing in my face??"

And the ever-enthralling Fresian!!

Let the fun and speed begin!

Check out the wheel off the ground! LOVE this shot!

Enter the "water hazard"

Look at the grin on the face of the navigator!! (person on back of cart)

The minis did everything at a much faster pace.

Look at her face...this lady was screaming as she whipped around this corner.

My mommy...a.k.a. "chauffeur," "moral support," "water girl," "e-z up shade setter-upper," etc...

And this was just a really neat picture that I snapped during one of the long standing around times.

See the smoke from the fires in the background??

  4. These are awesome! I love the color on the first one of the 27-year-old mare. My absolute favorite is the one right after "Hey what's that big black thing in my face." That is such a great shot and great color; very alive! Ditto the windmill comments, too! ;)
